VOLUNTEERS UNLOCK THE EPIC-NESS OF THE 2W ENDURO.
We are recruiting people just like you to help make the Giant 2W Enduro off the hook for the racers this season. Volunteer shifts range from 4-6 hours and are super fun as we encourage you to get into the vibe and make lots of noise. We even give extra kudos if you go in fancy dress!
THE PURPOSE OF THE 2W
The 2W Enduro is a non-profit event owned by the Rotorua Mountain Bike Club. The event is dedicated to supporting the ideas, initiatives, and overall well-being of the club as well as the broader mountain bike community. All the proceeds from this event are directed towards these important causes, ensuring the continued growth and development of mountain biking in the region.
EVERYONE WELCOME
If you've got a smile and are keen, we want you! No experience is required, but if you do have skills like first aid, retail, traffic management or social media let us know and we'll try to use them. You'll have a team leader, and get briefed so you have everything you need to have a great day.

- Course Riders
This role is about making sure the trails are all set for the athletes. You’ll ride down each trail to make sure it's clear for the race to start. This is a fantastic role if you want to see the trails our riders will be racing down / cruising up.SAT 7am - 3pm
Shuttle Assistant
You’ll be greeting the riders and helping the event shuttle bus team load the riders onto the bus.SAT 8am - 3pm
Aid Station Assistant
Assisting athletes at aid station with food, drinks, drop bags and providing encouragement.SAT 8am - 2pm
Course Marshall
This role is about assisting athletes with directions and encouragement on course, keeping public safe, providing event information and assisting with limiting public being on the course. This is a fantastic role if you want to see the action out on course. We can transport you from the event base or you can ride you MTB, leave a note in the comments if you would like to bike.SAT Times (estimated)

This is the face of the 2W, you will be one of the friendly team members who greet the participants who are picking up their rego packs and merchandise.SAT 7am - 11am
Prize giving assistant
This role is key to ensuring our prize giving runs smoothly and each prize is allocated to the correct recipient. You’ll work alongside the athlete services manager to organise prize giving.SAT 1pm-5pm
Social media assistant
This role helps us capture the atmosphere of the event as well as showcasing the riders, our venue and behind the scenes. You’ll be responsible for taking photo / video content throughout the event and reporting through to the social media manager.SAT 7:30am-3pm - Venue Team
Working alongside the venue team, you will be helping set up the finish line venue.FRI or SAT Times vary
