Enduro Mountain Biking was born in Europe 10 years ago and exploded onto the NZ scene in the summer of 2012 – 13.

The sport of Enduro encapsulates everything people love about the sport of mountain biking – the off-road adventure, physical challenge, test of skills and tactical nouse, adrenaline fix, combined with fun social riding; and at the same time teases out the little bit of competitiveness and thrill-seeker we all have inside of us.

Rotorua’s Giant 2W Gravity Enduro invites you to come ride at your pace as an individual and also socially with your mates; catch shuttle buses to the tops of the hills (if you don’t feel like riding them!); then let rip racing down timed long flowing descents in the world famous Redwoods /Whakarewarewa Forest (Rotorua) trail network. Have some laughs, tell a few tales, share in some banter whilst cruising between race stages, and then enjoy some local comforts (good food, coffee and beer) at the finish.

Receiving rave reviews following the inaugural Giant 2W Gravity Enduro event within the Rotorua Bike Festival in February 2013, there are now annually four opportunities per season to take part in this awesome event. Each event will get progressively a little bit harder (fitness and skill wise), challenging the riders thru the season.

With an enormous bounty of giveaway’s, performance and spot prizes to be given away, and a rewarding handicap ranking system to recognise the most improved riders between events, the Giant 2W Gravity Enduro is a must not miss event. Be in quick because there is a limit on entry numbers at each event and events sell out.

“Exciting times… the NZ MTB racing scene is in for a big shake up, that’s for sure! … Kashi Leuchs (Retired NZ Mtb Representative – 13yrs on World Cup XC Circuit)
